Bay City Christian School of Green Bay has a rich heritage of 35 years. From the earliest days, they have nurtured children from many area churches.
The vision for a Christian school to serve Green Bay and northeast Wisconsin began in the 1970s. A group of Christian families in Green Bay wanted their children to get a solid education in a warm atmosphere where their faith would be encouraged. Bay City Christian School opened in 1979 with seventeen students.
As of the beginning 2019-2020 school year, enrollment is 210 students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
BCCS achievement test scores consistently surpass the 80th percentile, and the ACT scores are consistently above the Wisconsin and the national average.
As a member of the American Association of Christian Schools and the Wisconsin Association of Christian Schools, Bay City Christian School provides a Christian education that helps students compete on a state and national level.
BCCS provides a comfortable and safe environment for students. Skilled educators work closely with students, challenging them in their strengths and weaknesses.
Each teacher has his or her own unique style, but all share several common goals:
FIRST, each has a relationship with Jesus and a desire to see their students know Him. SECOND, the teachers want to challenge and encourage students to excel — academically, physically, socially, and spiritually. THIRD, the teachers seek to build character into the lives of students so they can reach their God-given potential and be truly successful.
